Abstract

Purpose: To investigate the actual problem of radiation safety for medical personnel dealing with pathology and forensic medicine autopsies of those who were exposed to accidental or therapeutic irradiation.

Results and Conclusion: On the basis of author’s experience and literature analysis it has been shown that radiation safety of prosectory staff could be achieved with a system of special measures including arrangements of collective and individual protection, radiation control, organizational matters, as well as, personnel training and needs to be supplemented with hygienic regulations and special instructive documents.
